Product Description
I. Uses and Features:
1. Used for tempering and quenching heat treatment of workpieces, as well as isothermal normalizing treatment.
2. The quenching furnace is powered by a thyristor-controlled power regulator, with intelligent instruments for temperature control and an alarm function.
3. Each heating furnace employs dual thermocouples and dual temperature controllers, ensuring uniform furnace temperatures: ±8℃ for quenching furnaces and ±5℃ for tempering furnaces.
4. The quenching tank is equipped with a medium circulation and stirring system as well as a temperature control device, ensuring uniform hardness.
5. The oil-quenching setup with a cleaning tank is equipped with spray cleaning, strong-air drying, and temperature-control devices, ensuring thorough cleaning. PAG (water-based) quenching does not require a cleaning tank.
6. The program control system uses an imported programmable logic controller with reliable performance.
7. The controlled-atmosphere heating furnace features a carbon-resistant brick lining (typically, the upper part of a general tempering and normalizing furnace employs an all-fiber composite structure, while the furnace bottom uses a composite brick structure). Heating is achieved via electric (or natural gas) radiant tubes. Electric heating utilizes a PID power controller (natural gas heating employs pulse/proportional PID control for combustion). Temperature is precisely regulated by intelligent instruments, ensuring furnace temperature uniformity within ±8°C. The furnace also incorporates closed-loop control of the carburizing (protective atmosphere) environment inside the furnace.
8. The controlled protective atmosphere (carburizing atmosphere) can be either an endothermic atmosphere or a drip-feed atmosphere.
9. The carbon potential control system consists of a carbon potential controller, an oxygen probe, and a regulating valve, which are used to control the carbon potential of the furnace gas in the carburizing furnace with a control accuracy of ±0.05%. In general, for quenching and tempering furnaces using protective atmospheres, the use of a carbonizing (protective atmosphere) atmosphere is not necessary.
10. The control system is equipped with a touch screen that allows for manual and automatic operation and monitoring of equipment movements. It can also provide fault alerts and audible/visual alarms. Process parameters and operational instructions can be entered directly on the touch screen.
