I. Overview
This production line comprises a box-type heating furnace, a box-type tempering furnace, a quenching tank, a rapid cooling platform for normalizing, loading and unloading platforms, a three-axisquenching machine, and a fully automatic control system for the entire production line. The box-type heating furnace (tempering furnace) consists of a furnace body, furnace lining, furnace door, furnace door lifting mechanism, furnace door closing and sealing pressurization device, electric heating (or gas heating) system, forced air circulation system inside the furnace, gas supply control system, heating control system, safety guard, and maintenance platform. The equipment will automatically carry out the entire process—from loading workpieces into the furnace, to heating, holding at temperature, and finally unloading—according to the programmed process sequence.
II. Equipment Control Features
1. Includes floor plans of the entire production line and individual equipment units, with areas delineated by different colors. The diagrams also show the operational status of each individual piece of equipment, its processing steps, basic position status, temperature setpoints, and real-time temperature values.
2. Process parameters: Includes part name, process number, and various process parameters such as temperature and time.
3. Fault Alarm: Includes displaying current faults and displaying historical faults.
4. Data Recording: By moving the cursor left or right, you can display the data at the cursor’s position and also zoom in and out.
III. Multi-axis X-Y-Z Three-Axis Interlinked Transfer Machine (Quenching Machine)
The three-axis transfer machine, featuring a 3D fork-type X-Y-Z configuration and controlled by a PLC, enables fully automatic lateral movement of the large carriage, longitudinal movement of the material-fork trolley, and vertical lifting and lowering of the material fork. It facilitates the transfer of workpieces between the heating furnace, quenching tank, rapid cooling platform, and preparation table. The heating furnace’s workpiece quenching process and all quenching tanks consist of a tank body, a circulating cooling system, an underwater forced-agitation system, a liquid-level detection device, a temperature-measurement device, and a control system. Multiple sets of underwater forced-agitation devices are installed inside the tank (around the sides and at the bottom). The underwater agitators mounted on the tank walls can adjust their agitation speed according to the direction of liquid flow, and their variable-frequency speed control enables precise regulation of fluid flow velocity and flow rate. The circulating cooling system is used to cool the quenching liquid, thereby ensuring that the quenching liquid maintains a controlled temperature range during the quenching process of the workpieces.
4. The normalizing rapid-cooling chamber is used for normalizing workpieces after heating, or for the temporary storage of workpieces awaiting heating. The normalizing rapid-cooling chamber consists of a material platform, support frame, air-collection hood, and fan, among other components.
